The Cellar at Beecher’s, Flatiron

After our dinner at Pure Food & Wine, Cassie and I moved on to Beecher’s Cellar. It’s just a few blocks away, which made it the perfect post-dinner hangout. The Cellar has an excellent wine selection, as well as a menu of yummy sounding cocktails.
Alice and her boyfriend, John, joined us later in the evening. The Cellar is one of my favorite places to meet up with friends. There’s a cool vibe, but it’s still quiet enough for conversation. I’d love to come here for happy hour. Anyone want to join me?

I sipped on some Merlot before moving on to a glass of Rose right before we ordered the “World’s Best” Mac & Cheese ($15). Since mac & cheese is so rich and buttery, a refreshing, lean wine makes a good pairing. Bubbly would be even better though. Don’t visit Beecher’s without trying the amazing mac & cheese!
